A major event in Macaus Lunar New Year Celebration for the Year of the Ox, the Dragon and Lion Dance parade consisted of a 238 m long dragon and 18 lions. 12 Chinese zodiac mascots, and the gods of Happiness, Prosperity, Longevity and Fortune. Starting at the steps of the iconic Ruins of St. Pauls the parade, wound its way through the narrow streets and major avenues of this UNESCO Heritage City and according to the Macau Government Office passed through Senado Square, A-Ma Temple, Macau Fishermans Wharf, Rua da Cunha, and Avenida da Praia in Taipa.
