@Saladmints maybe edward is playing with himself and doesn't wanna be disturbed at that time. You know he lost his love, which means no more naughty time for him anymore. Poor guy is probably clogged like a toilet with a 4lbs poop in it.

@MiddlePeach the psp version is just a old console port with some effects(no effort). The DS version is all remade in 3D.

@Saladmints You need to go to the west wing of Troia castle, then talk to Edward. He'll give you whisperweed, which wil allow you to beat the Dark Elf.

This is a great game... but why is it so frickin' hard? I wanna see if Rydia and Rose are okay, not if I can beat dark elf after 13 tries.

LISTEN UP EVERYONE!!! You need to go to the left side of Troia Castle and talk to Edward in the infirmary, he gives you Whisperweed, THEN, you go fight Dark Elf. Only using physical attacks till he uses Fira on you, then kill him in the following battles! Oh btw, Tellahs Firaga is very nice as well as Yangs 3x focus + attack, Cecils sword deals holy damage which is also good. Cid is well... Cid. GOOD LUCK!!!
