Romans-22.Professing to be wise,they became foolish,23And changed the glory of the Incorruptible God into an Image made like Corruptible man and Birds and Four-Footed Animals and Creeping things.24Therefore God also gave them up to Unclean-ness,in the Lusts of their Hearts,to Dishonour their bodies among themselves,25Who exchanged the Truth of God for the Lie,and Worshipping and Served the Creature rather than the CREATOR,who is Blessed forever.Amen

They missed Hera. Hades, Hestia, Demeter and Dionysis weren't actually Olympian Gods but they were 'interchangeable' with other Gods so there were always 12 Olympian Gods.

Why the hell did they view Ares as the god of strife & hate? And Cowardice? All of those characteristics belonged to Hades.... Ares was more about defending your homeland & about martial strength rather than cowardice!!! He also centered himself around Vengeance alot. Also, Hera was the one who cast down Hephaestus, but not during an argument, she cast him down as a baby for being hideously crippled.

@ArgentumGraecus that's exactly what I am doing!

Dionysus was not one of the 12 Olympian gods. (Although, he was an interesting figure of greek mythology: Jane Harrison's theory about 'Savage Dionysus' is extremely enlightening and interesting).

@fantasyfiction101 Broaden your knowledge.

@brendanhawk11 That is but one of the myths. Just as a story may change its events or music its notes, Greek mythology has many a diversity. And I wouldn't refer to Olympus as a 'cliff'. |
