I people that believe this song is about weed and people that believe this song is about losing innocence are both right. Drugs are not some new phenomenon people have been smoking many things and types of weed for easily over a thousand years(epically longer) however because of this prohibition drug culture weed and other drugs became this cool, rebellious thing that had to be talked about it secret code. I mean fairy tales were not originally nice stories just like original disney movies.
