i ended up with almost the same sisay deck as u, though i play cards like mana reflection, some artifact mana producers like gilded lotus and i put in yomiji so i can keep getting mind slaver back after each use.

No i understand that point, and it is becoming more popular. However, in Nor CA that has meant that the amount of deck styels has changed. People are net decking EDH cause of how popular it has gotten.

Right, because the format absolutely exploding in popularity means EDH is dying. Can you imagine a Magic format where it's a race to play one certain archetype?"Sorry guys, I'm playing Jund; you have to play another deck."

i understand that, so i won't argue that point, but i will say i miss those rules and that i think the format is slowing dieing.

The league play rule is a thing of the past now. Check the official EDH site and you'll see that the league play rule has been defunct for some time now.

As you are aware, EDH encourages league rules, and almost every league i have seen has as part of it's charter that generals only exist once per league. This is on the west coast atleast.

There's no rule in EDH that keeps you from playing legendary creatures that people use as generals.

It seems the deck has a problem, it runs alot of cards people run as generals, and most rules say you can't play other peoples generals. So you have to SB alot. |
